Swarthmore College Unified Science Center, Swarthmore, PA

46 million dollars worth of new additions provided new space and linked three existing science buildings together. The goal of this unified learning environment was to combine all the college’s science departments including physics, astronomy, mathematics/ statistics, chemistry, biology, computer science and the science library. A new chiller plant was also constructed as part of the overall project scope. The facility maintained daily activities throughout construction. This project received an LEED® certification.


Pennsylvania State University Life Sciences Building, University Park, PA

41 million dollars worth of new life sciences building at the University Park campus that houses state-of-the-art classrooms, teaching/research laboratories, auditorium, video conference rooms and administrative spaces.  The construction of a glass-enclosed physical link from the upper floors of the life sciences building to the upper floors of the adjacent chemistry building adds to the uniqueness of this project.
