Building Commissioning

Are you concerned that what you are building is not energy efficient?  Not easy to maintain? Do you know what you are buying? Is your maintenance staff trained on the systems going into your building? Building commissioning can help.

Building commissioning minimizes systems issues at the time of building turnover to the owner. This includes design reviews to ensure that the planned systems are energy efficient, easy to maintain, provide flexibility for the future, meet any campus-wide maintenance standards, and long-term planning strategies into which this building must fit, Such items under consideration include operating costs, operating efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

Building commissioning incorporates the review of building systems designs to minimize coordination issues and help ensure that designs meet owner’s requirements. During the construction phase, initial equipment installations are inspected. Once mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and controls are operational, the systems are then tested to verify compliance with the design intent and manufacturers parameters. Commissioning can include the training of building operators on the systems.

With each commissioning, Tryangle Consultants provides a 10-month warranty to identify and resolve any issues there are with the equipment during that period. Our team has commissioned hundreds of buildings for higher educational and pharmaceutical clients. We are here to help.
